Deborah Miller

Deborah has been an artist for as long as she can remember. From the age of 8 her parents redirected her art interest and placed her in private art classes until she was in high school. She didn’t want to be a “starving artist” so she applied to colleges and received her BFA in graphic Design from the University of Hartford, Hartford Art school. Her internship while in college led to her first job as a graphic designer. Over the course of the next 20 years she worked in corporations, marketing companies, publishing and design firms doing work for non profits to fortune 500 companies. She has a large range of work experience.

Prior to her starting a family she started her own freelance design company, Miller Design and would work while her two boys were young.

After a long hiatus of raising her kids, she started soul searching and reconnected with the artist inside her. And with a leap of faith she started Miller Design again, only this time living her life-long dream of working as a fine artist. “Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life”…holds true for Deborah. Her passion and love comes through in every piece of work she creates.

Fast forward one year and she’s doing what she was born to do…create, paint and share her art.

Currently Deborah is painting with acrylics with resin and alcohol inks. Her love of design, color, and texture play an important role in her work along with her love of the ocean and nature. Deborah shares these loves with her clients. She hopes you love the work as much as she loves creating it.

Peace, Love, and Art!
